Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to accommodation in Arusha, with time to walk around the town and an evening briefing from the guide.

Day 2
3: Tarangire National Park
Two days in Tarangire for the elephant herds and baobabs, with game drives for lion, giraffe, zebra and antelope, returning to the lodge or camp each evening.

Day 3
6: Serengeti National Park
A flight to the Serengeti and three days across the park, following the Great Migration if the timing is right. Wildebeest, zebra and gazelle alongside lion, cheetah and leopard, with game drives, guided walks and picnics.

Day 4
8: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Two days in the conservation area, descending into the crater for a Big Five game drive with a picnic lunch, and spending the afternoons visiting a Maasai community to learn about their way of life.

Day 5
10: Lake Manyara National Park and Lake Eyasi
Game drive at Lake Manyara for the tree-climbing lions, elephant, giraffe, hippo and birdlife, then on to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe and Datoga, with guided interactions covering their hunting techniques and traditional customs.

Day 6
12: Tarangire National Park and Departure
Back to Tarangire for further game drives to pick up anything missed earlier, a farewell dinner, then breakfast and the return to Arusha. Optional markets or cultural centres before the transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
